I'm on a Viking Knit kick I guess... For this bracelet I used a heavier gauge of wire (24ga sterling) to see how it would look. The now-oxidized necklace I posted the other day is there for comparison. It has 28 gauge fine silver, which is thinner and softer, in a double-weave for extra density. The bracelet is single-weave, and I like the look of that in the heavier gauge.
Cheryl and I were killing time in Duty Free before our flight left. We picked the brain of the darling boy selling
John Hardy jewelry featuring a similar weave. Troy explained to us that it takes 8 hours to weave 3 inches of the JH signature chain. Finally someone understands!
