And the winner is...

Steve and I are big fans of Jake's, a local burger place in Delaware. Our friend Matt is from Modesto, CA and *claims* that In-N-Out burgers are the best. Steve and I, being scientists at heart, decided to do our own testing of this assertation while we were in California. They both have fresh ground beef smashed into thin patties, served on a squishy white roll with various toppings. I really liked In-N-Out's special sauce, which tastes like ketchup, mayo, & relish mixed together. Bottom line, I think In-N-Out has better service & facilities, the hamburgers are *just as good*, but Jake's has better fries. Steve says In-N-Out burgers are *almost as good* as Jake's and agrees about the rest. We're definitely in favor of either of these chains going national!
