My week

My dad came for a visit this week and it was so great to see him. Yesterday it was 60 degrees and sunny, so we took Riley for a long walk along the river. Otherwise we sat and visited, ate out a lot, and napped.

I got my laptop and it sat in the box for a few days, then after I unpacked it I lifted the lid for the first time and the "F" key was broken off. So, after chatting online with tech support I received a new keyboard in the mail the next day. Pretty good service from Dell!

Next on the agenda was to get a wireless router so Steve and I could use our laptops wherever. That didn't go so smoothly. I think what it is boiling down to is that my old desktop has only USB ports and the new router has only Ethernet ports. I'm still waiting on a call back from Netgear's tech support. I know a little about computers, but not enough to figure something like this out. I don't even want to keep my old desktop computer as a server; ideally I just want to use the laptop. Please email me if you are savvy enough to know what I should do. Thanks!
