Today I practiced my disc cutting, stamping, filing, riveting, and dapping. The first set is a pair of sterling discs stamped with maple leaves and acorns with a copper rivet in the center. Steve started the day by asking me if I was going to make jewelry (instead of surfing the internet) and I responded by hammering the rest of the day. Working from home does have its drawbacks.
The second style is a hammered, domed copper disc with a sterling tube rivet lining the hole.
I also practiced making earwires. Still debating whether to tumble these or leave them with a brushed finish...
