Every year I get swamped starting in November, filling orders and having shows and baking and decorating and making more jewelry. This year I'm making a conscious effort not to get burnt out because in years past it has taken me until February to feel like making jewelry again.One tradition that I am continuing this year is the annual lampwork binge. I save my pennies throughout the year and then in December I reward myself by purchasing artisan lampwork. Right now I am restocking focals to include in my Squiggle Bracelet kits and I'm on the lookout for great sets for linked bracelets (like the set here from Kabs Creative Concepts).
Okay, really the magpie in me just likes having shiny objects in my nest of a studio.
