Some of you may know about Steve's job situation, but for those who don't, here's the nutshell version:
-In March of this year we moved to my hometown in Virginia because Steve telecommutes when he's not on the road. I am thankful that our house in Delaware sold quickly, we have made great friends here, and we get to spend more time with my parents.
-In April, there was an unexpected event at Steve's work resulting in a decent chance he'd be transferred to the main office near Baltimore (2 hours away). I am thankful that Steve already has a great job, and this would mean an even bigger opportunity for him.
-For the past 7 months Steve's company has been deciding his fate. I've learned to take one day at a time, which hasn't always been easy but I am thankful for being stretched nonetheless.
-Today we got the news that we get to stay, at least for now. I am thankful that we can mentally settle in now. And maybe I'll unpack the rest of my boxes.
I wish you all a safe and fun Thanksgiving, and I hope you take the time to reflect on the many blessings in your own life.
