ShaBangle

Yesterday I took Lisa Niven Kelly's ShaBangle class at Wire Fest. She is a great instructor and it was cool hearing someone else describe how to make loops and spirals. These are techniques I also teach, but it's always a challenge to put my actions into words. Where to grip the pliers, where to grip the wire, which part of the pliers to use, etc.

I also had dinner with other Wire Fest-ers including Sharilyn Miller, one of my favorite wire artists. She was very down-to-earth and willing to share her thoughts on stuff. I can't wait to take a class with her now! Workshop schedule is on her website if you're interested, too.
